Nurses at Whalan Medical Centre are trained to provide direct patient care including patient assessment and monitoring, administering medications , injections, intravenous fluids, responding to emergencies, educating patients about their health , lifestyle modifications or medications, creating and updating care plans, promoting preventative care along with emotional and mental support to comfort and provide quality care to the patients to name a few.
